I didn’t think I ever would, but last month I actually...
Made a toast
Gave a presentation at work
Provided someone with an evaluation (and a pretty good one at that!)
...And I realized that I was able to do so because of what I learned from being a Toastmaster!
If something similar to the examples above has happened to you, this is your chance to inspire and motivate others. And this is your chance to publish your story on the American Express Toastmasters website.
The mission of our Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth. If you would like to share a story on a skill gained or lesson learned, we would like to publish your experience as an inspiration to new potential club members.
Starting today, we are accepting your:
testimonials
‘aha’ moments
or whatever you want to call 'em
Any story that describes a moment in your life and that you can ascribe your experience to being a Toastmaster.
Although we cannot publish every application, we are collecting new testimonials on a quarterly basis - so if we do not choose your story this time, or if you just don’t have the time to write your story at this point, we’ll be doing this again in the spring.
The directions to submit your success stories are to the left. In telling your story you are inspiring and motivating others in your community, thereby displaying a powerful leadership skill. Please take an involved role to help others as you develop your own communication and leadership abilities.
